Privacy Policy
Advantage Roofing & Construction, LLC
Effective date: September 2026
At Advantage Roofing & Construction, we treat your home like it's our own, and we treat your information the same way. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit advantagerc.com (and advantageroofingandconstructionllc.com), chat with us online, fill out a form, or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
In this policy, "Advantage," "we," "us" and "our" mean Advantage Roofing & Construction, LLC. "You" means anyone who visits our website or contacts us. "Website" means both of our web addresses and every page on them.
By using our website, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
1. Information We Collect

You give us information when you:

Chat with our website chat assistant. See Section 3 for details.
Call us, text us, or visit our office. We may keep notes about your request, your project and our conversations.

Information we collect automatically
When you visit our website, we and the service providers we work with may automatically collect:
Device and browser information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system.
Usage information, such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click, the page that sent you to us, and the date and time of your visit.
General location, such as your city or region, based on your IP address.
Cookie and pixel information. See Section 5.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from:
Website visitor identification services. See Section 4.
Your insurance company or adjuster, when you ask us to help with a claim.
Our financing partner, limited to what's needed to move your project forward, such as whether an application was approved.
Review sites and social media, when you post about us publicly or message us there.
Advertising and analytics partners, such as information about how you found our website.
Information we do not want
Please don't send us Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, full credit card numbers, health information, or passwords through our website forms or chat. We don't need them to schedule an inspection or answer a question. Payments are handled separately and securely.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to your questions and requests
Schedule and carry out free inspections, estimates and consultations
Prepare estimates, proposals and contracts, and complete the work you hire us for
Work with your insurance company and adjuster when you ask us to
Communicate with you about your project by phone, text, email or mail

Follow up with visitors who showed interest in our services (see Section 4)
Understand how people use our website so we can make it better
Measure and improve our advertising
Keep our website, our business and our customers safe, and prevent fraud or misuse

Enforce our Terms of Service and protect our legal rights
3. Our Website Chat Assistant
Our website includes a chat assistant that can answer common questions about our services and help you request a free inspection or estimate.
Here's what you should know:
It's an automated assistant, not a live person. The chat assistant uses artificial intelligence (AI) to create its answers. The chat is not monitored in real time.
It may ask for your contact information. To help you request an inspection or have our office follow up, it may ask for your name, phone number, email address, town or street address, and a short description of your project. Sharing this information is up to you.
We keep chat conversations. We store the full conversation, including anything you type, along with the date, time and the page you were on. Our team reviews these conversations to follow up with you, answer questions the assistant couldn't, and improve the answers it gives.
A technology provider runs it for us. The chat assistant is provided through a third-party software platform that processes and stores conversations on our behalf. The AI technology behind it may be supplied by other service providers who process your messages only to create responses. These providers are not allowed to use your information for their own marketing.
It's not for emergencies. If you have an active leak or fresh storm damage, please call our office at 502-265-5691. If anything is dangerous, such as a downed power line, a gas smell, or a tree on a home with people inside, get to safety and call 911 first.
Please don't share sensitive information in the chat, such as financial account numbers or Social Security numbers.
Answers from the chat assistant are general information only. See our Terms of Service for more about how the chat assistant should and shouldn't be relied on.
4. Website Visitor Identification
We may use a website visitor identification service to help us understand who is interested in our services, including visitors who don't fill out a form.
How it works: When you visit our website, the service uses cookies, pixels, your IP address and similar technologies to collect information about your device and the pages you view. The service may then match that information against data it already has, or gets from its own data partners, to identify the person or household that visited. This can include a name, email address, mailing address, phone number and general demographic information, along with the pages you viewed on our website.
How we use it: We use this information to understand which services people are looking at, and we may contact you by email, mail or phone about the services you viewed. We don't use it to make any decision about you that has a legal or similarly significant effect, such as your eligibility for credit.
We keep marketing contact within the law. We will not call or text a number we get through visitor identification using automated technology or prerecorded messages unless you've given us the consent the law requires, and we honor Do Not Call requests.
Your choices:
You can opt out of visitor identification and follow-up by contacting us (see Section 13). We'll stop contacting you and ask our provider not to use or share your information for our purposes.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (see Section 5).
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of visitor identification, "sales," and targeted advertising for that browser.
The visitor identification provider may also offer its own opt-out. [Link to provider's opt-out page, to be added when the service is live.]
5. Cookies, Pixels and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Pixels (also called tags or web beacons) are small pieces of code that tell us or our partners when a page was loaded. We and our service providers use these technologies to:
Make the website work, including the chat assistant and our forms
Remember your preferences and your conversation with the chat assistant
Measure traffic and performance, for example through Google Analytics
Measure and improve advertising, for example through Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising or Meta (Facebook)
Identify website visitors, as described in Section 4
Your choices:
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block them, some parts of the website, including the chat assistant, may not work properly.
You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
You can adjust ad settings with Google (adssettings.google.com) and through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
We honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 4. Our website does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there is no common standard for them.
6. Phone Calls, Text Messages and Email
Calls and texts. When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your request, your inspection, your estimate and your project. These are service messages, not advertising.
Marketing messages. We will only send marketing text messages, or make marketing calls using automated technology, if you've given us your express written consent. Consent is never a condition of buying anything from us.
If you receive text messages from us:
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call 502-265-5691.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers who help us send the messages.
Email. If you give us your email address, we may email you about your request or project. If we send marketing emails, every one will include a way to unsubscribe.
Calls may be noted. We may take notes during calls to keep your project on track. We do not record phone calls without telling you first.
7. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in these situations:
Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, the chat assistant platform and its AI technology providers, our customer management and communication tools, analytics and advertising providers, our visitor identification provider, scheduling and payment processors, and our accountants and IT support. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Suppliers and subcontractors who help complete your project, such as material suppliers, dumpster and delivery companies, and trade partners, limited to what they need, such as your address and project details.
Your insurance company and adjuster, when you ask us to work with them on a claim.
Our financing partner, LendHome Improvements, powered by Momnt, if you choose to apply for financing. The information you give on a financing application goes to Momnt and its lending partners and is governed by their privacy policies, not ours. Advantage is not the lender.
Manufacturers, such as Owens Corning, when we register a product warranty for your home.
Permit offices and inspectors, when a permit is needed for your project.
Legal and safety reasons, when we believe sharing is required by law, a court order or a government request, or is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Advantage, our customers or others.
A business transfer, if Advantage is involved in a merger, sale or transfer of some or all of the business. Your information would stay protected by this policy or one at least as protective.
With your permission, in any other situation.
About "sales" and targeted advertising under state law. Some state privacy laws define "sale" or "targeted advertising" broadly enough to include sharing device and browsing information with advertising, analytics or visitor identification providers through cookies and pixels. To the extent our use of these tools counts as a "sale" or "targeted advertising," you can opt out as described in Sections 4, 5 and 10.
We may share information that has been combined or de-identified so it no longer identifies you, for example, general website traffic numbers.
8. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy:
Customer and project records, including contracts, warranties, invoices and insurance paperwork, for as long as your project, its warranties and our legal, tax and insurance obligations require.
Inquiries, form submissions and chat conversations from people who don't become customers, for up to [three (3) years] from our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Website usage, cookie and visitor identification data, for up to [twenty-six (26) months], or as set by the provider's retention settings.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.
9. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, such as secure (HTTPS) connections on our website, password-protected systems, and limiting access to the people who need it. No website, internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a data breach that affects you, we'll notify you as required by law.
10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
No matter where you live, you can ask us to:
Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy
Correct information that's wrong
Delete your information, subject to records we're required to keep by law or need to complete or warranty your project
Stop sending you marketing emails, texts, calls or mail
Opt out of website visitor identification, targeted advertising, and any sharing that counts as a "sale" under state law
Kentucky, Indiana and other state residents. Some states, including Kentucky and Indiana, give their residents specific privacy rights, such as the rights listed above and the right to appeal our decision on a request. We honor these requests for all of our customers and website visitors, whether or not a particular state law applies to us.
How to make a request. Contact us using any method in Section 13. We'll need to verify your identity before we act on a request to see, correct or delete information, usually by confirming details you've already given us. You can have an authorized agent make a request for you, with proof of your permission. We'll respond within 45 days, and we'll tell you if we need more time.
Appeals. If we deny your request, you can appeal by contacting us and asking us to review our decision. We'll respond to your appeal within 60 days. If you're not satisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General.
No discrimination. We will never treat you differently, charge you more, or deny you service because you exercised your privacy rights.
11. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where state law uses that age). If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Other Websites
Our website may link to other websites, such as our financing partner, Owens Corning, review sites and social media. We don't control those sites, and this policy doesn't cover them. Please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add new tools to our website. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
